Follow these steps
Use the workspace and website that you intend to configure.
- Check that a website page is public, reachable and permitted by its crawl rules.
- If a page requires sign-in or renders important text in an unsupported way, add an authorized written source instead.
- For PDFs, check that text can be selected. Scanned images may need conversion to a text-based document first.
- Review the import status and the extracted text before publishing.

Do not bypass access restrictions or upload information you are not authorized to share with visitors.
