1. Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use chatrevia.com, the Chatrevia team app, the help centers we host and the messenger that businesses add to their websites, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, screen magnification, voice control or other assistive technology.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the level referenced by the European standard EN 301 549 and the European Accessibility Act.
2. Conformance status
Chatrevia is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA: most content conforms, and we are fixing the parts that do not yet fully conform, listed below.
3. What we do
- Every control in the messenger can be reached and used with a keyboard, and focus moves into the messenger when it opens and back to the launcher when it closes.
- Focus indicators keep at least 3:1 contrast, including on a business’s own brand colours.
- New replies are announced to screen readers once they are complete, not word by word.
- The messenger follows the visitor’s language, sets the page language accordingly and supports right-to-left layouts.
- Text colour on a business’s brand colour is chosen automatically for contrast, and the settings warn a business when its colours are hard to read.
- Videos in our guides have captions, animations respect the reduced-motion setting, and pages reflow down to 320 pixels wide.
4. Known limitations
- The team app, help center navigation and emails are available in English only.
- We test with automated tools and manual keyboard, zoom and reflow checks. We have not yet completed testing with every major screen reader.
- Content that businesses write themselves, such as knowledge articles, images and brand colours, is their responsibility; we give them tools and warnings to help.
If something is hard to use, please tell us so we can fix it, and we will help you get the information or service another way in the meantime.
5. Businesses using the messenger
If your business must meet the European Accessibility Act or similar rules, email support@chatrevia.com for details of how the messenger meets WCAG 2.2 Level AA, including the results of our latest assessment.
6. Feedback and contact
Email support@chatrevia.com with “Accessibility” in the subject to report a barrier or ask for information in another format. We aim to reply within 5 working days.
If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can contact the authority responsible for accessibility in your country, such as the market surveillance authority designated under the European Accessibility Act in your EU member state.
7. How we prepared this statement
This statement was prepared on 27 September 2026 from a self-assessment that combined automated testing with axe-core and manual keyboard, zoom, reflow and language checks. We review it at least once a year and whenever we make a major change.
